Aaron Walker

Aaron Walker is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media leadership and strategic communication roles. Currently serving as the Media Team Leader at the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) since July 2019, Aaron previously held the position of Senior Media Officer at The Australian National University from June 2014 to July 2019, focusing on promoting the university's research narratives. Earlier roles include National Media Director for the Bullet Train for Australia Party and National Media & Social Media Manager for the Australian Bureau of Statistics, where Aaron managed large-scale media campaigns, including the Census of Population & Housing. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Communications in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Canberra and a Diploma of Marketing from the Canberra Institute of Technology.
