Nils van Boxsel

Nils van Boxsel currently serves as a Strategic Digital Advisor and Chief Information and Digital Officer at the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) since March 2019. In addition, Nils is a member of the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority's Audit and Risk Committee since April 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Executive Partner at Gartner from November 2017 to March 2019, and various leadership positions at the Australian Trade Commission, where Nils was Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer from 2008 to 2017. Nils has also held significant roles at Microsoft, CSC, and Nover & Company throughout a career that began in 1986. Nils holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Science from the University of South Australia.
