Adrian Lochrin

Adrian Lochrin is an experienced diplomat currently serving as Minister-Counsellor for Political and Strategic Communications at the Australian Embassy in Indonesia since January 2022. Previously, Adrian held significant positions within the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, including Head of the Key Sectors Taskforce and Assistant Secretary of the Communications and Parliamentary Branch. Adrian's career also includes roles as Assistant Secretary of the Pacific Branch at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Deputy High Commissioner at the Australian High Commission in Singapore, and Senior Civilian Representative for the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Afghanistan. Adrian's educational background includes a Master of Arts in International Relations from the International University of Japan, a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from The Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Sydney.
