Anna Purdy has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting in 2009, they worked at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, where they held several roles, including Conference and Events Coordinator, Group Reservations Agent, FIT Reservations, and Central Switchboard Operator. In 2016, Anna joined AJ Hackett International as a Business Development Manager, and they remained in that role until 2019. From there, they moved on to Marvel Stadium as a Functions Executive from March 2019 to November 2020. Currently, Anna works at AFL - Australian Football League as the Elevate Events - Operations Manager at Marvel Stadium starting from November 2020.

Anna Purdy graduated from James Cook University in 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a double major in Tourism and Hospitality Management. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2016, they obtained the Responsible Service of Alcohol certification from Club Training Australia. In 2017, they acquired the Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue (RMLV) certification from Industry Training Services. More recently, in September 2020, Anna completed the COVID SAFE Work Training for Dining In course at TAFE Queensland and the WHO COVID-19 Mass Gatherings Risk Assessment Training offered by the World Health Organization.
