Jeff Neumann has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the Australian Football League (AFL). Jeff started in 2009 as a Development Coordinator in the Darling Downs region, where they coordinated and delivered participation and game development programs. Jeff then moved up to Regional Manager positions in Mackay and later in Darling Downs, where they led teams to deliver participation programs, talent development, and community competitions. Jeff also took on a secondment as a Regional Manager in Groote Eylandt, focusing on promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging indigenous students to attend school.
During their time at the AFL, Jeff also served as the Junior Football Portfolio Manager for Queensland, leading the strategy for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for young participants and increasing retention and transition through the junior football pathway. Jeff was later promoted to the position of Participation & Programs Manager for Metro South, overseeing various programs in that region.
Outside of the AFL, Jeff worked as a Private Coach for One on One Football and as a Match Day MC & Ground Announcer for Cricket Australia. Jeff also had a short stint as an Assistant Coach for the Western Bulldogs' Women's Team.
Jeff's early career included roles as a Trainee Development Coordinator and a School Based Trainee in the Darling Downs region, both with AFL SportsReady.
