Kerryn Kovacevic

Kerryn Kovacevic has extensive experience in digital transformation and project management within the Australian government sector. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Responsible Officer at the Australian Government Department of Education since January 2018, Kerryn has held multiple leadership positions including Chief Digital Officer. Prior to this role, Kerryn was the Chief Digital Officer at the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations from February 2020 to July 2023, and also managed a branch of over 100 IT professionals focused on innovative digital solutions for employment services. Previous roles include Branch Manager Online Services Development and Engagement, Director - Project Manager, and Business Analyst & Systems Tester. Kerryn's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Canberra and a Diploma of Project Management from Wizard Corporation, alongside other qualifications in accounting and finance.
