Kira Spucys Tahar

Kira Spucys Tahar is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in managing media and event strategies. Currently serving as the General Manager of Communications and Events at the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation since June 2017, Kira has previously held roles such as Communications Manager and Communications Coordinator within the same organization. Prior to this, Kira worked as an Assistant Editor at Indian Link from June 2014 to June 2017, overseeing print and digital publications and collaborating with writers across multiple editions. Kira's early career includes an editorial internship at The Indian Express, supported by the Australia-India Council Fellowship, as well as freelance projects at the University of Sydney Centre for English Teaching. Kira holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communications, Political Science and Government, and English Literature from the University of Sydney.
