Noel Higginbotham has extensive work experience in various industries. Noel started their career as a Fitter Machinist at Queensland Rail in 1975 and worked there until 1980. From 1980 to 1985, they worked as a CNC Machinist/Programmer at Bradken. Noel then joined the Australian Army as a Transport personnel from 1977 to 1991. In 1990, they became a Design Draftsman at AUSTRALIAN DRAFTING & DESIGN PTL LTD. Noel worked there until 2010. From 1985 to 2014, they served as a Teacher at TAFE Queensland. Currently, they are one of the Directors/CEO of the Australian Institute of Advanced Studies, a position they have held since 2014.
Noel Higginbotham has a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from Griffith University, which was obtained from 1985 to 1987. They also have a Bachelor's degree in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from the South Australian College of Advanced Education, earned from 1988 to 1989. In addition, Noel Higginbotham has multiple qualifications from TAFE Queensland, including a Diploma in Manufacturing Technology, a Certificate III in Engineering in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician, and an Advanced Diploma of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. They completed these TAFE qualifications from 1985 to 2014.
