Alex MacAdam

Alex Macadam has a diverse background in marine research and environmental conservation, with experience in various research assistant and intern roles. Currently, Alex is a Technical Assistant at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, focusing on gene flow. Throughout previous positions at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, Griffith University, LetSea AS, and SASC, Alex has worked on projects related to coral susceptibility, algae responses to ocean acidification, and kitesurfing instruction. With a BSc in Marine Biology from Swansea University and a Research Masters in the same field, Alex brings a strong academic foundation to their work in marine science.
