Cherie Motti

Cherie Motti is a seasoned Research Scientist with extensive experience at the Australian Institute of Marine Science since 2000 and has been serving as the Biomolecular Analysis Facility Manager at AIMS since January 2001. Responsibilities include conducting research, overseeing spectroscopic instrumentation, training users, and ensuring high-quality data delivery for researchers and students. Cherie completed a PhD in Natural Products Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at Griffith University from 1992 to 1996 and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from the University of New England, obtained between 1987 and 1991. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Griffith University from March 1996 to March 1997.
