Matthew Butterworth

Matthew Butterworth is an experienced mental health professional with a strong background in sports psychology. Currently serving as a Board Member at Athletes for Hope Australia and a Senior Manager for Mental Health at Cricket Australia, Matthew has also held the position of Mental Health Manager at the Australian Institute of Sport since September 2018. Previous roles include Team Psychologist for Commonwealth Games Australia and Clinical Psychologist with the Northern Sydney Local Health District. With extensive experience in clinical leadership and performance enhancement for athletes, Matthew has contributed significantly to mental health services across various organizations, including headspace and Cygnet Health Care. Matthew holds multiple degrees in psychology from The University of Waikato.
