Derek Tsang

Derek Tsang is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as a Manager at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority since July 2020, following a tenure as Principal Analyst. Prior to this, Derek held the position of Project Lead at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada from April 2019 to July 2020. Derek's extensive experience at APRA from February 2008 to March 2019 included roles as Principal Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Analyst. Academically, Derek holds a Bachelor of Economics with a focus on Economic Policy Analysis and Money, Banking, Trade and Finance from the University of Newcastle, obtained in 2007, as well as a Bachelor of Finance in Business Finance from the same institution, completed in 2006.
