Carolyn Njenga

Carolyn Njenga, PhD, is an experienced professional in the fields of insurance risk management and actuarial studies. Currently serving as the Manager of Insurance Risk at the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation since March 2023, Carolyn has previously held key roles including Manager and Senior Analyst in Remediation at AIA Australia, as well as Senior Analyst and Analyst in Remediation at CommInsure. Carolyn's career also includes a significant position as Head of Financial Risk Management at the Commercial Bank of Africa and leadership roles at Strathmore University, where responsibilities included Academic Director and Adjunct Lecturer. Carolyn's academic credentials encompass a PhD in Actuarial Studies focusing on Longevity Risk from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Science in Applied Statistics, along with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, both from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
