John Winter

John Winter CAE GAICD currently serves as President of the Australasian Society of Association Executives since May 2022, previously holding the position of Vice President and Non Executive Director. As Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association since February 2014, John leads a professional organization with over 2,200 members in the fields of corporate restructuring and insolvency. John's extensive experience includes roles as an Advisory Board Member at Macquarie University, CFO 2015, and ACCA, where as Country Manager, John oversaw operations in Australia and New Zealand. John has held various marketing and leadership positions in companies such as Hudson, Preston Rowe Paterson, and QBE Insurance, showcasing a strong background in strategic marketing and brand development. John holds a degree in Commerce, Economics, and Finance from the University of New South Wales.
