Matt Linnegar

Matt Linnegar, FARLF, serves as the Chief Executive of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation since July 2014 and holds the position of Non Executive Director at the Telstra Foundation and Agribusiness Australia. Previous roles include CEO of the National Farmers' Federation from March 2011 to July 2014, and General Manager of Corporate & Customer Operations at Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited from February 2005 to February 2011. Matt also held the position of Executive Director at the Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia from September 1998 to January 2005. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Agriculture from Hawkesbury Agricultural College and leadership training from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.
