Dean Chesterman

Mr Chesterman was appointed acting Group Executive – People & Culture with effect from 12 September 2022. He was previously General Manager Branch Operations Home Care Services. Mr Chesterman commenced his career with Australian Unity 10 years ago in People & Culture and then supported the integration and growth of the Home Care Services business.

He is responsible for leading the Group's people function including culture and capability, performance and remuneration, workplace health and safety, shared services and internal communications. Mr Chesterman also leads the Group's inclusion and diversity, workplace giving and employee wellbeing strategy.

Prior to joining Australian Unity, Mr Chesterman held a number of roles in KMPG Australia’s Human Resources team including employee relations and people strategy development.
