Luke Smith

Luke Smith is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at AustralianSuper since March 2015, Luke manages the Growth Portfolio and the Socially Aware Australian Shares portfolio, drawing on a solid background as an analyst. Prior roles include leadership positions at Canaccord Genuity Australia and Ord Minnett, where Luke focused on Australian mining research and analysis. Additional experience includes key roles in portfolio management and investor relations at Lion Selection Group and extensive engineering expertise gained at GoldFern Consulting and MineConsult. Luke holds a Master's degree in Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering (Honours) from UNSW.
