Orest Byskosh

Orest Byskosh is an experienced professional with a diverse background in finance, technology, and research. Currently serving as an Associate at Nima Capital LLC since November 2020 and as an Advisor and Head of Research at Ausum Ventures since June 2018, Orest has led due diligence on over 1,500 start-ups and managed a hedge fund portfolio while providing strategic advice to portfolio companies. Previously, as Investment Director and Investment Manager at HCM Capital from September 2019 to October 2020, Orest focused on investing in FinTech and blockchain technologies. As the Founder of Fourier Solutions from May 2016 to July 2018, Orest developed an innovative payment system. Additionally, a research role at Northwestern University involved creating machine learning algorithms for cancer diagnostics and working with 3D imaging in collaboration with Argonne National Laboratory. Orest's academic credentials include education from Northwestern University, Saint Viator High School, and the Ukrainian School of Chicago.
