Murali Avula has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Murali started their career as a Web Developer for eContent in 1999 and then moved on to work as a Web Developer for Lycos Media from 2000 to 2001. In 2003, they joined Unum Provident as a Test Lead before transitioning to Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Senior Consultant for Alpha Consulting Corp in 2004. Murali worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb for seven years and then joined Xybion Corporation in 2011 as a Senior Consultant. After two years, they joined JPMorgan Chase as an AVP in 2013. Murali's most recent position was as a Senior Systems Test Lead for Authentix, where they worked in Engineering & Product Development starting in 2014.

Murali Avula completed their education in a chronological order. Murali first attended RJPS High School from 1984 to 1987, where they focused on mathematics and statistics. Following their high school education, Murali pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Osmania University, which they completed between 1989 and 1992. In conjunction with their bachelor's degree, they obtained a Diploma in Systems Management from the National Institute of Information Technology, specializing in Management Information Systems and Services, during the period of 1990 to 1991.

Murali then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Acharya Nagarjuna University, completing it between 1992 and 1995. This educational journey equipped him with a solid foundation in computer science and management information systems.

Aside from their formal education, Murali has also obtained additional certifications. In May 2020, they acquired the certification "Taking Charge of Your Career" from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in April 2023, they obtained the "Leadership Foundations" certification, also from LinkedIn. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
