Alicia Marcos Birong

Alicia Marcos Birong is a seasoned leader in youth empowerment and mindfulness, currently serving as President of ChatterGirls since October 2013, where the organization focuses on enhancing the social and emotional well-being of girls aged 8 to 14 through mindfulness training. Additionally, Alicia has been a Lead Specialist and Teacher at GUIDED CHOICES since January 1991, and a Life Coach, Speaker, and Trainer at Guided Choices, Inc. since May 1998, specializing in support for children, women, and business owners. As the Founder and Creator of ChatterGirls, Alicia developed a self-esteem program addressing the critical needs of young girls, further contributing to the field as an author since 2016 with the publication "Changing the Chatter: Help Your Daughter Look Beyond the Mirror for Better Self-Esteem." Alicia holds an M.A. in Counseling from Loyola University Chicago, earned between 1980 and 1986.
