Jessica Sussen has a diverse work experience in various industries and organizations. Jessica started their career in 2010 as a Summer Camp Counselor at Laurel School. Jessica then interned in the Alumni Relations Office at John Carroll University in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, Jessica held several roles at Laurel School, including Assistant Manager in the After School Program and Summer at Laurel program, as well as Development Office Assistant. In 2015, they joined the Association for Women in Science as a Project Manager. Jessica then worked at the National Society of Black Engineers as a Corporate Relations Coordinator from 2015 to 2017, and later became a Corporate Relations Manager from 2017 to 2018. Jessica also served as the Chair of Corporate Memberships at Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) - Cleveland in 2018. In the same year, Jessica joined the Cleveland Museum of Art as an Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships. Jessica then moved on to the National Society of Black Engineers again, where they held various roles, including Corporate Relations Manager and Senior Manager of Development National Partnerships. Currently, Jessica works at the Autism Society of America as the Director of Corporate and Cause Partnerships since 2023. Throughout their career, Jessica has demonstrated expertise in corporate relations, development, and partnership management.

Jessica Sussen obtained their high school diploma from Laurel School in the years 2001 to 2008. Jessica then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Miami University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, Jessica went on to complete their Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at John Carroll University between 2012 and 2014.
