Beth Whitney is an accomplished event management professional with extensive experience in fundraising and development within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Field Development for New England at Autism Speaks since August 2022, Beth is responsible for achieving revenue goals, establishing planning timelines, and executing events with volunteer leadership. Prior experience includes roles as Walk Manager for the Alzheimer's Association from January 2021 to September 2022, Event Manager at UMASS Medical School from February 2014 to November 2020, and Area Director of Catering and Convention Services at The Procaccianti Group from July 2011 to October 2013. Earlier positions also include Catering Sales Manager at Renaissance Hotel and Director of Catering at Sheraton Framingham Hotel. Beth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration from UMASS Amherst, earned between 1992 and 1996.
