Blair Morrison has over 13 years of professional experience in a variety of roles. In 1998, they started their own business, Kool Stuff by Blair, at the age of 11. Blair designed, built, and sold custom jewelry pieces through local businesses and home shows, growing the business to total profits of $20,000+ without any additional capital investment. In 2005, they worked as an intern at Emily Armenta Designs. In 2007, they interned at Enspire Inc. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an M&A Analyst at Jefferies, where they helped entrepreneurs find liquidity and growth capital. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Associate at Fisher Lynch Capital, where they tracked the progress of top VC and Buyout investments and reported to their investor base. From 2013 to 2016, they were the Vice President and Senior Associate at Dos Rios Partners, where they analyzed business models and worked with small business owners to grow their business. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Relief Financial Consulting, providing strategic financial support in a part-time FP&A or CFO capacity. In 2018, they founded and became the CEO of AutoCFO, offering fractional CFO services and automated reporting in plain English. Most recently, in 2021, they took on an Interim CFO role at Azure Data.
Blair Morrison attended Memorial High School from 2001 to 2005. Blair then attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2009, earning a Plan II and Business Honors degree in Liberal Arts and Business. Blair also attended the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2006 to 2009, earning a BBA in Business Honors.
