Jake Beason

Jake Beason is a Senior Software Engineer at Autodesk, where experience includes roles as a Software Engineer since August 2020. Prior to this, Jake served as a Technical Lead at the University of Michigan from May 2019 to July 2020, leading a team of UI/UX designers and developers in creating a community portal and establishing data infrastructure during a migration to AWS. Jake's earlier experience includes a Web Developer & Design Intern position at the University of Michigan, contributing to entrepreneurship teams and redesigning the organization’s website, which led to a 20% increase in unique visits. Jake also interned at Autodesk in 2018, focusing on prototyping and integrating features for 3D STEP files. Jake obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan in 2019, following graduation from Northville High School in 2015.
