Solomon Ruzima

Solomon Ruzima is an experienced IT professional currently working as a Platform Engineer and System Administrator at Auto Europe Car Rental since January 2023. Prior to this role, Solomon served as the Head of ICT Security at the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development from May 2013 to January 2022, leading a team of over 60 IT specialists and overseeing the implementation of network and system infrastructure for the Uganda National Land Information System. Solomon also held various roles at the Ministry, including Assistant Head QA Engineer, where responsibilities included planning software testing for systems utilized by over 800 users, and System Administrator, providing critical support and maintenance for Windows servers. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Northeastern University, a Certificate in Cyber Security Technical Excellence from Corporate Compliance Seminars, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication Engineering from Kyambogo University.
