Will Ferris has a diverse work experience starting with a logistics internship at Menards, where they worked alongside receiving and general management to learn and experience different daily operations. Will then progressed to a part-time receiving role, operating and maintaining equipment and picking and organizing customer orders. In 2009, they were promoted to Assistant Department Manager, managing a team of 5-10 members and handling scheduling, payroll, and daily sales in the Paint, Grocery, and Front-End Departments.
In 2011, Ferris transitioned to Automated Logistics Systems, LLC. as a Specialized Carrier Sales Manager, specializing in moving overweight and over-dimensional loads between the US, Canada, and Mexico and matching carrier qualifications to customer expectations. Will later became a Business Development Manager, responsible for maintaining service levels with large customers, expanding business relationships, and being the go-to person for flatbed or specialized customers. In their most recent role as Key Account Manager and now as Director of Business Development, Ferris continues to contribute to the company's growth and success.
Will Ferris attended Grand Haven High School from 2000 to 2004. After completing high school, they enrolled at Central Michigan University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree from 2004 to 2011. During their time at Central Michigan University, they majored in Logistics and Marketing. No further educational experiences have been provided.
