Chris Blower

Chris Blower is a seasoned JavaScript Engineer at Automattic since September 2013 and has been serving as the Technical Director at Jumpwire since August 2007, where innovative feature development and project oversight are key responsibilities. Previously, Chris held the role of Platform Engineer at ScraperWiki Ltd from January 2012 to August 2013, implementing Agile development practices. Early career experiences include serving as a Technical Support/Developer/System Administrator at Crosby Communications and a Halls of Residence Network Representative at the University of Manchester, where support was provided for the extensive student residence network. Chris holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science from The University of Manchester, completed in 2006, and attended Merchant Taylors Boys' School from 1996 to 2003.
