Matt Bumgardner

Matt Bumgardner is a seasoned professional in the tech industry with a wealth of experience. Matt currently holds the position of Head of Engineering in Payments at Automattic, where Matt has also served as Senior Director and Interim VP in various roles related to Payments Engineering for WooCommerce. Prior to this, Matt worked at Centare as a Senior Lead Consultant, Rockwell Automation as a Senior Software Engineer, and Assurant Health as a Principal Architect. Matt's educational background includes Graduate Studies in Computer Science from Marquette University, and Matt received their undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
