Alex Tigges

Alex Tigges has a diverse work experience starting from 2016. From January to May 2016, they worked as an Entrepreneurship Clinic Intern at North Carolina State University Entrepreneurship Clinic. After that, from June 2016 to August 2018, they served as a Customer Service Specialist at First Citizens Bank. From August 2014 to December 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at Project PASTEL. Starting in August 2018, Alex joined Envestnet | Tamarac as a Data Aggregation Specialist. During their time at Envestnet | Tamarac, they independently created an automated error reporting system, used logistic regression models to identify technical issues, and created SQL scripts to evaluate data quality, among other responsibilities. Finally, from June 2022, they joined automotiveMastermind Inc. as an Associate Data Scientist, a role that is ongoing.

Alex Tigges completed a Master's degree in Data Scientist from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Business Management B.S. degree and a Psychology B.A. degree from North Carolina State University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alex also obtained several certifications, including Data Analysis with Spreadsheets, Intermediate R, Intro to SQL for Data Science, and Introduction to R from DataCamp in July 2018.
