Patrick Mueller-Sarmiento

Patrick Mueller-Sarmiento has a diverse work experience in various senior leadership roles. Patrick currently serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Directors at Merqueo since February 2022. Before that, they founded and chaired Autonomo Technologies, a company focused on simplifying shopping for consumers and improving profits for retailers through autonomous stores. Patrick held this position from May 2021 onwards.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Patrick worked at Roland Berger as a Senior Partner and a member of the Global Management Team starting in January 2021. Patrick also played a significant role at METRO AG, where they served as the CEO of real,- Group Holding GmbH from October 2012 to June 2020.

Furthermore, Patrick has significant experience in the field of consumer goods and retail. Patrick worked as a Senior Partner and the Head of the Competence Center for Consumer Goods & Retail at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants from October 2011 to September 2012. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Partner in the same Competence Center from January 2002 to September 2012.

Patrick Mueller-Sarmiento attended EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 1996 to 2001. During their time at EBS Universität, they did not earn a specific degree or focus on a particular field of study. Additionally, in 1998, Patrick participated in an MBA Exchange Student Program at Babson College. In the same year, they also took part in an Exchange Student Program at Universidad de 'San Andrés', where they focused on Relaciones Internacionales (International Relations).
