Carsten Eckmiller

Carsten Eckmiller has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 2005, they worked at mobile.de & eBay Motors GmbH as a Customer Support Specialist, providing technical support for car dealers. Carsten then moved into product management and established 3rd party relationships, while also being responsible for APIs and trust & safety product solutions. Carsten took on managerial roles within the company, leading different teams and overseeing revenue and business outcomes.

In 2008, Carsten became the Dealer Business Manager at mobile.international GmbH, taking charge of the dealer product offering and APIs. Carsten continued to manage 3rd party providers and was fully responsible for the business outcomes.

From 2009 to 2012, Carsten worked as the Senior Manager Tools International at mobile.de. Carsten was responsible for revenue, business, and budget, steering and coordinating marketing, PR, and sales for the B2B product department. Carsten also led a team of 4 Product Managers and 3 Engineering teams.

Carsten then joined the eBay Classifieds Group as the Head of Commercial Product Management at mobile.de. Carsten led the New Biz and New Cars product and UX team, played an active role in integrating new colleagues and teams, and participated in the due diligence of Motor-Talk.

In 2017, Carsten became the Head of Product at mobile.de / eBay Classifieds Group. Carsten led the Product and UX Organization, establishing collaboration within Product, Tech, and external stakeholders. Carsten implemented agile processes and contributed to shaping the company's OKR process. Carsten was responsible for all mobile activities within the company.

In 2019, Carsten joined HomeToGo as the Director of Product Providers & Inventory. Carsten was responsible for the supply side of the business, integrating vacation rental providers and ensuring high data quality. Carsten also managed a team of up to 15 people and established structures and processes to reduce costs.

Carsten's most recent work experience is as the COO and Co-Founder of AUTOVIO.de, starting in November 2021. Carsten is involved in various roles within the company, including being a Co-Founder and Product Manager.

Carsten Eckmiller pursued their education at the Technische Universität Berlin from 1990 to 1998. During this time, they obtained a Diplom degree in Bauingenieur, focusing on civil engineering.
