Kecheng Xu

Kecheng Xu has a long history of experience in the tech industry. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Baidu USA as a Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead), Senior Software Engineer (Tech Lead), and Software Engineer. In these roles, they launched new pedestrian prediction models, applied semantic map prediction models to pedestrians, designed and deployed prediction onboard/offboard model training data services, and was a core development member for features release on Apollo 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.5, 5.0, and 5.0. In 2022, they became a Tech Lead Manager at AutoX.

Kecheng Xu completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Fudan University in 2013. Kecheng then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computational Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed in 2016. Kecheng was also in the Ph.D program during this time.
