Nikhil Shinde has worked in various roles in the engineering field since 2015. In 2015, they were the Team Captain for Team RGIT Racing, a collegiate competition. In 2016, they worked as a Design Fabricator for Maker Auto, Mumbai's first Maker Space on wheels. Nikhil also worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer for Picostone, where they designed cases around circuit boards for their home automation products. In 2017, they were a CAD Modeller for ivape.in, developing photorealistic 3D renders for their digital marketing needs. In 2018, they were a CMU TechSpark Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University and Co-engineering lead for the Carnegie Mellon Hyperloop International Collegiate Competition. In 2019, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Motivo Engineering and JUMPWatts, where they were responsible for converting ideas into proof-of-concept prototypes and streamlining the mechanical design process. Currently, Nikhil is a Mechanical Engineer at AutoX.ai.
Nikhil Shinde received their Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MCT's Rajiv Gandhi IoT, Mumbai between 2012 and 2016. Nikhil then went on to pursue a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed in 2018.
