Amy Scott

EVP of Research & Interpretation at The Autry

Amy Scott is a prominent figure in the field of visual arts, currently serving as the Marilyn B. and Calvin B. Curator of Visual Arts and Vice President of Research and Interpretation at the Autry Museum of the American West since 2000. With a background as a curator at Gerald Peters Gallery from 1996 to 2000, Scott has a proven track record in developing collections, exhibitions, and publications that advance the mission of the Autry National Center. Previous roles include adjunct instructor and curatorial assistant at notable institutions. Scott holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Visual Studies from UC Irvine, a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from The University of Kansas.
