Sarah Wilson

Director of Education at The Autry

Sarah Wilson is the Director of Education at the Autry Museum of the American West, a position held since April 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing the education department's operations and programming for over 40,000 K-12 students annually, managing a team of 15 paid staff and 180 volunteers, and overseeing the department's budget. Prior roles include Education Curator at the Autry, where contributions focused on hands-on collections and exhibition content, an Advisor at Brentwood Art Center, Operations Assistant at Enservio Select, Human Resources Manager and Office Manager at Carl Fischer Music Publishing, and Gallery Program Coordinator at The Bard Graduate Center. Sarah holds a BA in Art History from Bates College, an MA in Art History from Stony Brook University, and an MA in Arts Management from American University.
