Justin Silk

Justin Silk started their career as a Credit Risk Analyst at Freemans Mail Order in 1994. Justin then worked as a Consultant at Equifax from 1997 to 2000. After a brief career break for international travel in 2002, they worked as an Independent Consultant from 2000 to 2001. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Risk Analytics Manager at Create Services, leading a team of 6 in the non-branded credit cards division. Justin then served as a Risk Manager at Matlock Bank from 2005 to 2006. In 2007, they joined C&A Bank as the Head of Risk, where they set up the risk department in accordance with German regulations and worked until 2013. In 2013, they worked as the Director of Risk Management at Lendico, focusing on establishing and institutionalizing a risk management framework for the peer-to-peer startup. Since 2014, Justin has held multiple roles at Auxmoney, including Vice President of Risk Management and currently as Head of Risk Management. Justin has successfully scaled up the risk department infrastructure and team, implementing advanced analytics and scoring techniques to support a robust risk management infrastructure for the leading P2P platform in Germany.

Justin Silk obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from De Montfort University, where they attended from 1990 to 1994.
