Deepa Avisetti

Senior Scientist (project Lead) at Avacta Life Sciences

Deepa Avisetti PhD has extensive work experience in various scientific research roles. Deepa is currently a Senior Scientist (Project Lead) at Avacta, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Assay Scientist at Avacta from July 2021 to July 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Research Associate at the Royal Veterinary College, U. of London. Before that, they held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant at the Blizard Institute from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they also worked as a Consultant at QConsult Researchers Programme at Queen Mary University of London. Earlier in their career, they served as a Senior Research Fellow and a Junior Research Fellow at CSIR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY from 2009 to 2015.

Deepa Avisetti PhD obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cancer Biology from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research from 2009 to 2016. Deepa also completed a short course in Regulatory Science for Advanced (Gene & Cell) Therapy: Advanced Therapies - Bench to Medicine at UCL in 2019. In 2013 and 2014, Deepa received a P.G. Diploma in Patent Law from the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University Hyderabad. Deepa obtained an M.Sc in Biotechnology from Punjabi University from 2007 to 2009 and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biotechnology, Zoology, and Chemistry from St. Francis College for Women from 2004 to 2007. Deepa also attended Little Flower Junior College from 2002 to 2004 and St. Ann's High School from 1996 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health, with Barton Poulson" from LinkedIn, the year of which is not specified.
