Brian Werner

Brian Werner has an extensive work experience in financial operations and planning. Brian currently serves as the Vice President of Financial Operations at Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at American Water from 2015 to 2020, where they held the role of Divisional CFO from 2018 to 2020 and Director of Financial Strategy, Planning, and Decision Support from 2015 to 2018. From 2008 to 2015, Brian worked at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, where they held various roles including Director of Financial Planning, Analysis, & Reporting, Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, and Senior Financial Analyst. Before that, they worked at The Boeing Company from 2001 to 2008 as a Senior Financial Analyst and Finance Analyst. In these roles, Brian was responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Brian Werner completed their Bachelor's degree in Business, with a focus on Marketing and Economics, at Truman State University from 1996 to 2000. Brian later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at Washington University in St. Louis, from 2003 to 2004.
