Mike Verkamp

Mike Verkamp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mike is currently the Vice President of Business Development and Administration at Availent Systems since October 2021. In this role, they focus on optimizing NetSuite for business scale and provides consulting and administration services. Previously, from 2016 to 2021, Verkamp worked at LHP Engineering Solutions, where they held multiple roles including President of LHPU and VP of Administration. At LHP, they provided training solutions for embedded controls engineers and implemented process improvements in human resources. Before that, Verkamp worked at Sandvik Hyperion as the Global Director of Metal Cutting Business from 2014 to 2016 and at Sandvik Coromant in various positions such as Sr. Manager of Global Service Offer and Director of Sales Midwest Region US. Additionally, Verkamp served on the Industry Advisory Board for the IUPUI School of Computer and Electrical Engineering from 2019 to 2021.

Mike Verkamp completed their Bachelor of Science degree in IE/IM from Purdue University from 1985 to 1989. Mike later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kelley School of Business - IU, attending from 2001 to 2003.
