Sean Parsons

Sean Parsons has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Sean is currently working as the Principal, Architect Delivery Lead at Availity since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas in various roles such as Portfolio Lead, Sr Director Business Solutions Lead, Sr Manager Business Solutions Lead, Lead Solution Architect, Solution Architect, Application Architect, and Application Developer from 2006 to 2022. Before joining Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Sean worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Verizon Business from 1998 to 2006 and as an Electrical Engineering Technician at Kimberly-Clark from 1990 to 1998.

Sean Parsons attended Langston University from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1990, they attended the Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology - Okmulgee, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians.
