Guanzhong Wu

Guanzhong Wu has a comprehensive work experience. Guanzhong is currently working as a Product Development Engineer at Avalanche Technology Inc. since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at New York University from January 2022 to June 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, Guanzhong was employed as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University. In this role, they focused on studying interfacial spin orbit interaction in magnetic heterostructures, spin wave behavior, and spin-charge interconversion efficiency. Guanzhong also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same university from August 2016 to December 2017.

Before joining The Ohio State University, Guanzhong gained intern experience at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016. There, they participated in a C++ project simulating the evacuation of people and added a module simulating the movement of motorcycles.

In addition, Guanzhong worked as a Research Fellow at Peking University from June 2014 to December 2015 and as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Physics & Beijing National Lab for Condensed Matter Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013.

Guanzhong Wu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from The Ohio State University between 2016 and 2021. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2014, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Beihang University. Additionally, they also earned an Associate's degree in Mathematics from Beihang University from 2011 to 2013. In terms of certifications, Guanzhong Wu received a certification in R Programming from Coursera Course Certificates in June 2016 and became a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer through National Instruments in November 2016.
