Sima Baktas

Sima Baktas has been working in the legal field since 2012. Sima co-founded GlobalB in 2012 and served as a trainer. In 2013, they became an instructor at Law-Agenda, where they provided training courses for lawyers. In 2014, they founded GlobalB Law, where they represented financial institutions, governmental bodies, and regulatory agencies. In 2017, they became a columnist at BW Türkiye. In 2018, they founded CryptoFemale and became a keynote speaker at the Global Blockchain Consortium. In 2020, they became the Head of Legal at Block Earner Turkiye. In 2021, they became the Head of Legal at Avalanche Turkiye. Finally, in 2022, they became the Head of Legal at BANXA Turkiye and an Advisor & Legal at Yoorbit.

Sima Baktas has a long and varied educational history. Sima is currently studying U.S. Law at Fordham University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Bahcesehir University in 2013, and studied Political Science and Public Administration at Anadolu University from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the World Peace Summit 2014 South Korea in 2014, Trainer at Informal Education Project / Brussels from Youth@Change / Brussels in 2012, Mediterranean Youth Meeting (MEYouME) / Italy from Una Cooperativa Sociale Di Inserimento Lavorativo / Italy in 2011, American Corporote and International Business Law from Bahcesehir Universty / Atlanta Bar Association in 2011, and many more.
