Dan O'Keefe

Dan O'Keefe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer enablement and instructional design. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Customer Enablement at Avalara since May 2019, Dan drives revenue growth by enhancing customer success for a base of 30,000 through data-driven strategies, self-serve training content, and collaboration across teams, achieving a remarkable 79% reduction in support cases. Prior to Avalara, Dan contributed as an Instructional Designer at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, creating rich-media content for a top-ranked online MBA program, and served as Lead Learning Designer at the Institute of Play, where support for $8 million in grant development and global dissemination of game-based learning practices was achieved. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and History of Mathematics and Science from St. John's College and a degree from Teachers College, Columbia University.
