Kyle Willick

Kyle Willick is an experienced optics specialist currently working at Avalon Holographics since February 2022. Prior to this role, Kyle contributed to the field of quantum computing as a PhD researcher at the University of Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing from September 2012 to May 2020, and also completed a Master's degree in quantum information during that time. Previous positions include optical engineer at Christie Digital Systems, medical physics technician at Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, defense researcher at Defence Research and Development Canada, and sea ice model research assistant at the Canadian Ice Service. Kyle holds a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Mathematics in Mathematical Physics from the University of Waterloo.
