Jim Graves

Jim Graves is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in the field of information technology management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Information Technology at AvalonBay Communities since June 2013, Jim previously held the role of Group Vice President of Information Technology at Archstone from March 1999 to June 2013, where oversight included a 45-person IT division focused on various strategic and operational areas. Earlier career roles include Manager of National Data Systems at American Medical Response, overseeing multi-state IT operations, and Manager of Information Systems at 911 Emergency Services, Inc., responsible for state-wide IT operations and emergency dispatch centers.
