Reto Merazzi

Reto Merazzi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Reto currently holds the position of Head Project Delivery CH/FL at Avaloq since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the COO at Silverhorn Group from April 2017 to October 2023. Reto was also the Head Product Engineering Securities at Standard Chartered Bank from June 2015 to March 2017. Earlier in their career, Reto held various executive positions at UBS, including Executive Director of Group Technology from March 2010 to May 2012. Reto has also worked at Appway as a General Manager from December 2012 to June 2015, as well as at Hubbis as the Managing Director, Head of Technology Solutions in 2012. Reto's professional journey began at Zürcher Kantonalbank, where they worked as a Client Advisor/Relationship Manager from 1992 to 1997.

Reto Merazzi earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Business Information Technology from the ZHAW School of Management and Law, which they attended from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications in various subjects, including Negotiations from Wharton Online, Principles of Management from John Hopkins University, Web3 and Blockchain Fundamentals from INSEAD, Managing the Company of the Future from the University of London, AI For Everyone from DeepLearning.AI, Paper 6 - Regulation of Asset Management from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, and Paper 1 - Fundamentals of Securities and Futures Regulation, also from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. The certifications were obtained in 2023.
