David Meister

David Meister is an experienced professional with a strong background in the technology industry. David currently holds the position of Global Head of Channel & MSP - Email and Collaboration Security at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd and Avanan, a Check Point Company, where they have been since 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing channel and MSP activities related to email and collaboration security. Prior to this, David served as the Head of Email Security - Asia Pacific & Japan at both companies from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Check Point, David worked as a Non-Executive Director at AD ADVISORY SERVICES PTY LTD in 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of State Manager at First Focus IT from 2018 to 2022, where they oversaw operations and managed the state team.

David's earlier experience includes working as a Technical Account Manager at Harbour IT from 2016 to 2018 and as a Technical Services Manager at GX2 Technology from 2013 to 2015. David also worked on a contract basis as an Independent Contractor at Norsk Hydro from 2009 to 2011.

David Meister began their career as a Network Engineer at Digi-Tel Pty Ltd in 2007, where they gained valuable technical experience. Overall, David has demonstrated a strong track record of success and a deep understanding of the technology industry throughout their career.

David Meister completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Australian Institute of Business between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management (Information Technology) from Charles Sturt University from 2015 to 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold a Certified Professional Sales Person certification from the NASP (National Association of Sales Professionals) obtained in February 2019. David also has certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA R&S, ITIL V3 Foundations, and VMware Sales Professional - VSP - Software-Defined Storage, although the dates of acquisition are unknown.
