Xihong Xie

Xihong Xie is a Senior Scientist at Avance Biosciences, Inc., with a focus on developing and validating real-time PCR assays, ddPCR assays, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) assays while improving internal laboratory processes. Prior to this role, Xihong served as a Research Scientist at the University of Houston, where research on cellular mechanisms of metals led to five publications. Xihong’s experience also includes roles as a Teaching Assistant, Sales Support at Zhuhai YEJIA Precision Rubber Product Co., Ltd., and Quality Control Chemist at The Mentholatum Company (China). Xihong holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Guangzhou University.
