Donald Rogers

Donald Rogers has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Donald started their career in 1999 as a Programmer and Database Analyst at Petstore.com, where they created scripts in Perl and SQL to perform data mining and managed content pushes to live web servers.

In 2000, they joined GE Healthcare as a Project Leader, where they served as a primary siting resource for MRI platforms, resolving challenges related to MRI siting and collaborating with vendors to develop specialized foundation designs. Donald worked in this role until 2004.

From 2004 to 2008, Donald worked at GE Power as a Systems Validation Engineer and later as a Fleet Support Engineer. In these roles, they organized measurement campaigns, managed prototype tests, and conducted root cause analyses into turbine components and systems. Donald also collaborated with field technicians and component owners to design retrofits and improve performance.

In 2008, they joined Iberdrola Renovables as a Supervisor in the U.S. Technical Division. Donald managed technical issues related to wind turbine fleets, led special projects, and was promoted to Supervisor in 2010.

In 2012, Donald joined Iberdrola as a Team Leader, System Improvements. Donald directed a team responsible for introducing process and methods to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs of wind assets. Donald also developed predictive maintenance systems and mentored team members.

Donald'smost recent role is at Avangrid Renewables, where they have been working since 2014 as a Lead Senior Engineer. In this role, they manage project planning and resource allocation for improving component reliability and completing failure investigations. Donald pursues opportunities for industry collaborations and provides support to non-technical departments.

Donald Rogers obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from Hamilton College, attending from 1989 to 1993.
