Marco Mendez

Marco Mendez is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in electrical systems, specializing in transmission line networks and substations. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at AVANGRID, Inc. since October 2018, Marco has previously held the position of Lead Engineer - Electric System Engineer at AVANGRID, Inc. since December 2014. Prior experience includes roles at Iberdrola Engineering and Construction, where Marco coordinated designs and assessed construction sites for substations and overhead transmission lines from February 2009 to December 2014, and at Techint Group, overseeing overhead transmission line projects from April 2001 to February 2009. Marco holds a degree in Construction Civil Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, obtained between 1993 and 1998.
